He is told that he must learn how to leave his own body and move into other bodies at will, so he can marry the lovely Nivritti. His wicked minister, Krishnapaksha, pretends to help. But as soon as Shuklapaksha moves out of his own body, Krishnapaksha takes over both body and kingdom. Stuck as a parrot, Shuklapaksha must now find a way of getting back his body, his kingdom, and Nivritti.
