Just when Katie finally makes her toughest life choice, destiny intervenes once again.

Estranged from Ranger and blindsided by a life-altering event, she finds herself alone and vulnerable at The Academy. The impact of which spirals him back into depression and darkness. He finds himself on the outside of a tight circle and seeking redemption for a way back in.

When a catastrophic black op puts the Katie-kat in jeopardy, the former foes and elite cadets must set their differences aside to save the young woman they both still love.
