From it's opening in 1887 to its modern day performance, Naši furianti has been embraced by the Czech people as part of their national heritage. Capturing the rich folk life of Cerhonice, the play depicts real characters and events from the village as it stood more than a century and a half ago. Previously converted to both opera and film, this is the first English translation made available to the public.
